Signal Drift
Title sequence study in procedural 3D
The brief
A technical study: could a full title sequence be driven entirely by one audio waveform, with zero hand-set keyframes, and still feel authored?
Approach
- 01Built a procedural node graph where amplitude drives extrusion depth and spectral centroid drives camera roll.
- 02Rendered a 40-second sequence at 4K in a single pass to prove the graph holds without manual correction.
- 03Cut three alternate edits from the same graph by changing only the input track.
Outcome
A reusable procedural template, three finished edits, and a written breakdown of the audio-to-geometry mapping.
